Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about Fluenceur and affiliate marketing.

Yes. The subscription is commitment free and you can cancel at any time from your account. Your cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Fluenceur acts as a technical intermediary and provides the platform (tracking, affiliate portal, payouts, and related documents).

The advertiser remains responsible for running their program (rules, approval of sales and commissions), for how UGC is used, and for complying with applicable regulations.

The affiliate remains responsible for their content, for meeting transparency requirements (e.g., disclosing ads or partnerships), and for their own tax and social obligations related to any income received.

The content shown in Fluenceur is for viewing and program management purposes. Any external reuse (ads, website, email, reposting) requires the creator’s written permission. The brand remains responsible for how the content is used.

The advertiser pays validated commissions through Fluenceur in a single bulk payment. Fluenceur then issues one consolidated invoice on behalf of the affiliates, showing the breakdown by affiliate and amount, and a separate Fluenceur invoice for the service fee.

Fluenceur tracks attributed sales through affiliate links and discount codes. Results are available in the brand dashboard and in each affiliate’s portal.

Yes. Depending on your plan, you can manage multiple users and multiple accounts.

The Growth plan supports up to 3 brands or stores. The Enterprise plan offers unlimited multi brand management.

You can invite an affiliate in two ways:

  • You can send a manual email invite to a creator you sourced, whether you found them in Fluenceur or elsewhere.
  • You can also invite a creator directly from Fluenceur when they have mentioned you on Instagram, using the secure messaging flow.

In both cases, the affiliate receives a unique sign in link (magic link) to join the program you invited them to. They accept the terms, then access their affiliate portal to find their links and codes, and track sales, commissions, and payouts.

Sign up and subscription are handled through Shopify.

You install the Fluenceur app from the Shopify App Store, then Shopify redirects you to confirm and activate your subscription. Once installed, your Shopify store is connected automatically. You then simply connect Instagram inside Fluenceur.

There’s no “magic” rate. The right commission is the one that motivates affiliates without damaging your margin. The most reliable way to set it is to balance your margins with common e commerce benchmarks.

Typical starting points in e commerce

Many brands start around 10% to 15% per sale, then adjust with tiering.

Rates vary widely by category, often ranging from 5% to 30% depending on margins and business model.

Common ranges by category (good starting benchmarks)

Beauty and personal care: 10% to 18%

Fashion and accessories: 8% to 15%

Food and beverage: 8% to 12%

Home and lifestyle: 8% to 12%

Electronics and gadgets: 5% to 10% (lower margins)

A simple method that avoids mistakes

Base your math on your net revenue (after returns, discounts, and variable costs)

Start with a category standard

Use tiers to reward top performers instead of overpaying everyone

Practical, scalable setup

Customer affiliates: lower rate

Creator affiliates: standard rate

Top performers: bonuses via tiers or temporary boosts

Market consistency note

Some industry benchmarks on affiliate via influence report an average ROI around 9x over the period studied, which suggests commission based models can be highly profitable when activation and tracking are done properly.

The process is designed to be simple, traceable, and frictionless. It happens in four steps:

1. Validation

The brand validates commissions from its dashboard, after accounting for returns and withdrawal periods.

2. Bulk payment by the brand

The brand pays all validated commissions for the period in a single payment.

3. Credit to the affiliate wallet

Fluenceur automatically credits each affiliate’s wallet with the corresponding amount.

4. Bank transfer withdrawal

The affiliate sees their balance updated and can request a bank transfer to their account whenever they want.

Administrative

For each payment, the affiliate automatically receives a payment receipt by email to support their income records.

Fluenceur is a social affiliate marketing platform.

It uses influencer style signals (creators, content, mentions), but the model is performance driven: tracked sales, commissions, and measurable ROI.

What makes Fluenceur different

Performance first: affiliates are paid a commission on tracked sales (links and codes), not per post or per view

Always on programs: you run an ongoing affiliate program, not a one off campaign

Open technology: you recruit and manage your own affiliates on social platforms, without being locked into a closed network

Roadmap: we plan to add customer activation through Social Cashback within the same ecosystem

Fluenceur is built for e commerce teams that want to move from “branding” influencer marketing to performance driven creator marketing, with a commission based model.

The platform is designed for three main profiles:

E commerce brands on Shopify

For marketing teams that want to run social affiliate marketing in house, reduce dependence on paid ads, and pay for results through commissions on tracked sales.

Brands with a custom stack (Open API)

For teams that want to connect a custom CMS or checkout flow using our Open API.

Agencies and consultants

For teams managing multiple brands with one infrastructure: AI discovery, tracking (links and codes), program management, commissions, and payouts.

Team size

From small teams launching their first program to organizations running multiple programs and larger affiliate volumes. Fluenceur is designed to scale.
